After having crossed the "Saint-Genis-Laval - Hôpitaux Sud" station at the beginning of July, the tunnel boring machine crossed the 1,000-metre mark last Friday 13/11/2020.  The TBM is working on the metro Line B extension of Line B in Lyon and it  will now continue onwards towards the Grand Revoyet shaft, located halfway between the Oullins Centre and Saint-Genis-Laval - Hopitaux Sud stations.

Despite the new lockdown measures, the Line B extension project will still go ahead with full compliance to COVID measures.

In the first quarter of 2021, the TBM will reach the future Oullins Centre station, before completing the excavation in the existing tunnel at the Orsel shaft.  For further information please click here and fr/82 and also visit http://www.sytral.fr. 47/20.
